For the visual product part of this assignment I decided to make a poster for my movie trailer.
After choosing to make a movie poster for my visual product i had to come up with an idea for my poster.
My first idea was to have a coloured silhouette of the hero as the main image to the poster and have a strong pattern as the background with a title but after changing an image of the hero to a font it didn't look very good.
So i thought of a different idea, as my film is called The Lookout i thought of including a white and grey lookout tower under the film title.

I liked this design but to me and others it didn't look like the mystery agent film it was supposed to be, instead looked like a war film or book cover. So i decided to try again.
After looking on Google at movie posters for a bit of inspiration i saw the movie poster for Full Metal Jacket, so i kept that style of poster, white background and a main customised image to suit the film and a good looking title in my head and kept referring back to it, after a while this was my finished piece.
